Motor Festival comes to Surat Thani
Car buyers and vehicle enthusiasts in Surat Thani should not miss the Thailand Motor Festival, which is being held at Central Plaza Surat Thani.
The event, which concludes on Sunday, features booths from major auto-makers such as Toyota, Isuzu, Ford, Mazda, Nissan and Suzuki along with Yamaha and Vespa, as well as a large number of auto accessories.
“This is the second show that we’ve staged this year and we decided to hold it in Surat Thani due to the high economic growth, high purchasing power and high demand for automobiles in this province,” said organising committee co-chairman Jatuporn Khanmanee.
“We hope the show will allow consumers to compare prices and details of various models before they purchase new vehicles,” said Wiluck Lohthong, the other co-chairman.
Wiluck added that customers who place orders at the show are entitled to a lucky draw throughout the year. Prizes include South Korea package tours, Yamaha Fino motorcycles and i-Mobile phones. The total value of the prizes amounts to Bt3 million.
The following events this year will be held at Pacific Park Sriracha (May 10-19), Central Plaza Udorn Thani (August 9-18), Central Plaza Lad Prao (September 18-27), Central Plaza Airport Plaza Chiang Mai (October 18-27) and Central Plaza Hat Yai (December 14-23).
