With prices starting at 755,400 euro (Bt31 million), the F12 comes with an unlimited 3-year warranty. The new Ferrari, which replaces the 599 GTB Fiorano, features a front 6,262cc V12 that pumps out as much as 740 horsepower at 8,250rpm and 690Nm at 6,000rpm.
The F12 has a 7-speed DCT (Dual Clutch Transmission). Acceleration from 0-100km/h takes just 3.1 seconds and 0-200km/h acceleration is achieved in 8.4 seconds. The car’s top speed is claimed to be 340km/h.
Drivers can select any of five driving modes for different conditions (Wet, Sport, Race, CT Off, Esc Off). The F12 weight 1,525kg, 70kg lighter than the 599 thanks to the use of its aluminium body. Its braking distance at 100km/h has been shortened by 7 metres compared to the 599, while fuel consumption is 30 per cent lower. However, it is faster than the 599, clocking 1 minute 23 seconds at the Fiorano circuit in Italy.
Cavallino Motors managing director Nandhamalee Bhirombhakdi said the F12 also comes with gadgets that make day-to-day driving easier for the owner. They include parking sensors, cruise control, a 320-litre trunk (which expands to 500 litres if the rear seats are folded), and a front suspension lifter for driving over inclines.
“The F12 Berlinetta has won numerous awards from around the world, including the Engine of the Year award in Germany, which is probably the most important market in Europe,” she said.
