A total of 495 Cruze sedans are being recalled for engine inspection and possible drive-shaft replacement, said Supote Phuprasert, customer care director at GM Thailand and Chevrolet Sales Thailand.
“We will be contacting customers who can count on the support of their nearest Chevrolet dealer to have their car checked and the part replaced if necessary,” he said.
Supote said that in Thailand there have not been any safety incidents reported in relation to this issue.
The automaker will replace the shaft for free at any Chevrolet dealership service centre. The process will take about one hour. If customers have any questions or concerns, they can contact the Chevrolet Customer Assistance Centre via telephone number 1734.
