The move is aimed at expanding ISSP’s cloud services with growth of 20 per cent this year, said Suwit Chindasanguan, chairman of ISSP.
Suwit added that this collaboration was to offer the premium cloud technology to empower Thai businesses for the upcoming AEC with user-friendliness and seamless data relocation. This service will serve customers’ demands with additional flexible solutions for individual organisations.
Under the collaboration with Microsoft through the “Microsoft Cloud OS Network”, ISSP, as the cloud service provider, will launch a new service called “a.csp”. This will support Microsoft’s platform including Microsoft Hyper-V, System Centre, Windows Server and Windows Azure Pack.
“The ‘a.csp’ service is the new cloud service by ISSP predicted to boost its business growth this year. Cloud technology is the trend that all businesses must embrace and adopt to sharpen their competitive edge.
“We see opportunities to expand our customer base to hospitality and tourism sectors,” said Suwit.
Bundit Wongwatanasin, ISSP’s managing director, added that as a pioneer cloud service provider in Thailand for over 3 years and having joined Microsoft’s Cloud OS Network, the company can serve the demands of both large and small businesses in Thailand. It is also able to reach potential customer bases throughout the AEC, as well as to expand is cloud service to grab new target groups - included industrial, banking, retailing sectors and middle-sized businesses.
Under ‘a.csp’ service, it offers multiple packages such as Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Hybrid Cloud, where customers can choose the service.
Tanapong Ittisakulchai, head of small and mid-market solutions at Microsoft (Thailand), said this collaboration between Microsoft and ISSP was based on a commitment to promote the numbers and growth of business customers in Thailand. ISSP is a strong partner with the potential to grow in the long term.
Besides this collaboration, ISSP
is affiliated with Microsoft in many
ways such as customers, a hosting partner and system integrator for Microsoft’s products and services including Microsoft SPLA, Office 365.
ISSP says it has the potential to offer pre- and post-sales services that can add more value to Microsoft products. This collaboration with ISSP would effectively expand the customer base for a cloud market with the best technology from Microsoft.
