At Thailand’s first Office 365 user conference, Microsoft (Thailand) declared the time has come to drive enterprise digital transformation, meeting business needs in terms of security and flexibility.

It showcased technologies and solutions that fuel productivity and business agility in the digital age, unlocking for enterprises.the full potential of Office 365.
Orapong Thien-Ngern, general manager, Microsoft Thailand said Microsoft strongly believed the innovations that inspired these changes would not come only in the form of devices or concrete objects.
He said that was why Microsoft was committed to developing effective and reliable technologies such as Office 365 to enable businesses to achieve more in digital transformation.
“With our service, we provide ways to work smarter and more securely in the virtual world while also fulfilling real-world requirements in a precise and effective manner,” said Orapong.
Microsoft developed Office 365 as a service that meets business needs in terms of security and flexibility in a mobile-first and cloud-first world.
With solutions and applications that support strong collaboration and teamwork - such as Skype for Business, OneDrive for Business, SharePoint Online and Yammer - Microsoft Office 365 enables users to communicate, and access or share data and the latest applications anywhere, anytime on any device and platform. It reduces time and cost as well as enhancing work efficiency.
Microsoft customers and partners at the user conference from many business sectors were invited to share their experiences using Office 365.
They included Thai Union Group, John Hardy (Thailand), The White Space, Chiang Mai University, the Office of the Securities and Exchange Commission, Interprofile, Ookbee, ACIS Professional Center, and Mitr Phol Sugar Corp.
Panupan Sanguanpak, head of IT & operation, The WhiteSpace Limited - operator of Penguin Sim, an eco prepaid mobile service - said the company was founded just one year ago and does not need to have its own IT experts since it is using Microsoft Office 365. With Office 365, its employees are able to work productively from anywhere.
“We are a small company, and most of our employees are millennials whose work and lifestyles are becoming more mobile. We had to look for a service that would help us effectively manage a company of our size, and Microsoft Office 365 fits the bill because of its flexibility,” said Panupan.
Additionally, the cloud-based service enables unlimited user accounts with fast and easy setup.
“As our company was founded just one year ago, we want to invest our time and work in developing our business without having to worry about IT systems. Now, we have Microsoft to take care of it for us, and we no longer need to have our own IT experts,” said Panupan. He added that using Microsoft Office 365 was a reasonable long-term investment because it could expand the service anytime without wasting time on technical implementation.
Santi Siritaweechai, vice-president for information technology, Mitr Phol Sugar, said the Mitr Phol Group has large amounts of important, confidential business data to  protect. Office 365 offered advanced security capabilities that effectively prevent data loss or theft yet still allow the company to access and manage data anywhere anytime on any devices securely and flexibly.
