Fastwork, the fastest growing startup of 2016 and one of the winners of dtac accelerate batch 4, launches Fastwork mobile application to make hiring freelancers as easy as three simple taps.

After an amazing response from the Fastwork.co freelance marketplace website, the team developed a mobile application to make the experience of hiring freelancer even better. Buyers can browse through over 3,000 qualified professional freelancers across more than 50 categories, and in turn freelancers have the great opportunity to get hired with automatic push notification directly from their phones from the buyer. Fastwork application is now available for download on the Google Play Store (iOS coming in November). Download today and receive a special discount of ฿150 off your first hire!
Vasa Supachok Iamsuri, Fastwork.co founding partner and captain said that since the Fastwork.co website launched in December 2015, Fastwork is the first and only marketplace that has protection policy for both the buyers and freelancers. Within the first 9 months, Fastwork has helped generate more than Bt5 million in additional income for more than 3,000 freelancers in Thailand.
“We are focused on providing our users the best experience, and our mobile application will help make it even easier for both buyers and freelancers to discover each other anywhere, anytime,” said Vasa.
The app allows buyers to easily and quickly browse through thousands of freelance services, chat with the freelancers, as well as make payment directly and safely through the app. Real-time push notifications allow both parties to always be updated on the current project status. It is expected that once Fastwork is available on both Andriod and iOS platforms, the rate of hiring freelancers on Fastwork will increase 10-folds, with over 40,000 services hired with over 10,000 qualified professional freelancers available through out all platforms by the end of 2016.
Sompoat Chansomboon, director of Business Innovation and dtac accelerate, Total Access Communication PLC or dtac said that Fastwork is a startup that revolutionizes the freelance market in Thailand, with an online marketplace that offers quality freelance services to buyers who are mainly companies and SME’s. Fastwork has helped elevate the standard of Thai freelancers to a global level through systematic and professional system.
The captain, plus 3 founding partners, and the team have in-depth knowledge of the Thai freelance industry, coupled with their startup experience in New York and Silicon Valley, which are both very dynamic markets offered plenty of learning opportunities. They knew they had to act fast and immediately start so they could see which path to take next. Their self-learning and ability to find shortcuts is their key success factor that makes Fastwork the winner of dtac accelerate Demo Day batch 4.
“Fastwork, the pride of our program, has grown revenue by 12 times within 4 months after entering the program and received investment from 500TukTuks - a subsidiary of 500 Startups, a leading VC from Silicon Valley - within 9 weeks,” said Sompoat.
dtac accelerate continues to support and push 21 startups from batch 1-4 to develop and scale up their products and services, help them get funding from VC’s, and provide continued commercialization support.”
