V.R. Srivatsan, managing director for Adobe Southeast Asia, told an Adobe Thailand media briefing the company would continue investing in Thailand. He said it remained attractive because of the rapid growth in the area of digital marketing across all industries.
He said today the world was already in the midst of a business wave where customer experience was the new competitive differentiator for businesses.
“Adobe aims to change the world through the digital experience gained from its strategies - including the advanced state of art of its content; the driving of digital transformation of industries; and powering experience with intelligence.”
“Experiences matter more than ever,” he said.
“Adobe gives people everything they need to design and deliver exceptional digital experiences.” Srivatsan continued: “Adobe helps industries to build and deliver content which is not only personalised and relevant to their customers, but also offers customers experiences.”
Adobe has three Adobe cloud platforms – Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe Document Cloud, and Adobe Marketing Cloud.
Adobe’s revenue in 2016 was US$5.9 billion, of which 67 per cent came from the digital media unit; 30 per cent from digital marketing; and only 3 per cent from print and publishing. It was expected Adobe Marketing Cloud had a marketing potential of 30 per cent growth each year through the next five years.
Adobe Marketing Cloud is a complete set of marketing solutions that help businesses to get deep insight into customers, build personalised campaigns, and manage content and assets.
In Thailand - the company’s second largest market in the SEA region - Adobe sees high potential in industries like finance [including banking and insurance], telecom, retail and e-commerce, travel and transportation, and media and entertainment.
However, Asia currently contributes only 14 per cent to the company’s total global revenue. America is the largest, contributing 58 per cent to revenue, while EMEA [Europe, the Middle East and Africa] contributes 28 per cent.
