The investment programme will commence next year, said Chai Suthasa, deputy technology director of True IDC.
“We are considering setting up the new IDC in either Chon Buri or Khon Kaen province, as a back-up site and providing support to customers around the areas, since the market is continuing to grow,” he said.
The company, which has about 300 customers nationwide, now offers a new solutions service named Cloud Disaster Recovery to enable users to continue to run their business after disruption from either data loss or system failure.
The package comprises six cloud disaster-recovery solutions, including Co-location Disaster Recovery, Disaster Recovery Office and DR Consult.
The company has also utilised principles of business-continuity management to develop new disaster-recovery services and solutions for customers via a one-stop service, Chai said.
True IDC has received BS 25999-2:2007 Business Continuity Management certification from the British Standards Institute.
As result, it continues to deliver services and bolster data integrity and security, enabling customers to be fully confident that their businesses will continue to operate continuously and consistently during critical times, he said.
The company expects to generate revenue of about Bt350 million this year, representing growth of about 15 per cent. This is expected to rise to Bt400 million next year.
“I think the IDC market will continue to grow. The company will also focus on providing cloud services such as cloud enterprise and outsourcing service solutions to enterprise customers,” Chai said.
