The EmQuartier shopping mall on Sukhumvit Road has announced the official launch of two fashion outlets, Qurator and Qstadium, which are expected to elevate the mall's status as a world-class fashion destination.

Under the “Fashion Invader” concept, the shopping mall will attract Stylenanda, from South Korea, and Beams, from Japan. These are two successful fashion lifestyle labels that have never before appeared at a shopping mall in Southeast Asia.
Located opposite the Emporium shopping mall, the new stores will elevate EmQuartier’s status as a world-class fashion destination.
Ravimon Thanitarom, group general manager for merchandising of The Mall Group, operator of the EmQuartier mall, said Qurator will be the ultimate Thai Designers Showcase as it features 60 labels created by Thai designers. The outlet will occupy 6,000-square-metres on the second floor of the Waterfall Building of the EmQuartier mall.
“We established Qurator due to the success of Thai designers’ retail space at Paragon Department Store. Each Thai designer has loyal customers, all of whom are clearly segmented. Thai designers’ main customer group consists of young executives who have a distinct fashion lifestyle and purchasing power,” said Ravimon.
She said that in the near future, Qurator would be a showcase for exclusive fashion designs. This fashion zone is expected to be successful with at least Bt850 million in sales within the first 12 months.
Chairoj Sridecharinkul, group general manager for merchandising at The Mall Group, said Qstadium would attract 53 leading fashion labels, including Adidas Neo, The Adjective, Carnival, Fly London, Leisure Project Store, Penfield, Superdry, Travel Fox and Vanquish.
The zone is located at section M on the first floor of the Waterfall Building and it occupies about 3,000-square-metres of retail space. The target customers are executive groups between the ages of 18 and 50 who live in the Sukhumvit Road area, have a specific lifestyle, need new items, and look for convenience. This customer group is key to the fashion strategy of EmQuartier. Within the first year, Qstadium is expected to generate Bt750 million in sales.
After its official opening three weeks ago, the EmQuartier shopping complex now attracts about 150,000 shoppers a day.

Gunkul will be responsible for equipment, procurement and construction of the projects so that the commercial operation date is achieved as scheduled under the PPAs.
It will also provide service under an operation and maintenance agreement for the projects.

BOUNTY, GRATUITY RULES ON THE WAY
The Capital Market Supervisory Board has approved regulations for the payment of bounties to informers and gratuities in cases where a fine is imposed on insider trading and market manipulation offenders under the Securities and Exchange Act.
The bounties and gratuities will be paid up to 30 per cent of the fine paid to the court or as ordered by the settlement committee.
Vorapol Socatiyanurak, secretary-general of the Securities and Exchange Commission, said yesterday that the regulations would support enforcement efficiency, raise investor awareness in helping monitor the capital market and facilitate legal actions against anyone taking advantage of others.
The key criteria of the regulations are methods for giving information and applying for a bounty or gratuity, consideration on entitlement to obtain a bounty, procedures for bounty and gratuity payment, proportion of bounties and gratuities and criteria for obtaining bounties and gratuities.
The information on wrongdoing and the application for a bounty can be filed either with the SEC or the Department of Special Investigation (DSI), while the application for a gratuity must be filed with the DSI.
Taking into account the safety of the informer, a provision for anonymity for the informer is included in cases where the person prefers non-disclosure of his or her identity.
The information given must be true. Giving false information to the SEC or the DSI constitutes a violation of the law and is subject to criminal penalties.
