She was appointed to sit on Tripetch Isuzu Sales’ management board as company director in 2001, was made a vice president in 2007, and became senior vice president in 2012.
She is also a director at Tripetch Isuzu Leasing and Tripetch Insurance Service.
Panadda graduated with a master’s in international trade from Hitotsubashi University in Japan, after being awarded a Japanese government scholarship.
She attained her bachelor’s degree from Thammasat University’s Faculty of Commerce and Accountancy.
SHOPS COMPLAIN OVER
FIZZY-DRINK PRICES
The Commerce Ministry has received complaints from shops about fizzy-drink producers raising their selling prices from Bt10 per glass bottle or can to Bt12.
The beverage-makers cite higher sugar prices and the increase in excise duty for drinks with sugar content for the price hike.
However, on the plus side for retailers and consumers, the content of a fizzy-drink can has been increased by 5 millilitres to 245ml, although the size of a bottle remains at 250ml.
Fizzy drinks are among 205 product items on the Internal Trade Department watch list for prices, with bi-weekly monitoring.
Wiboonlasana Ruamraksa, director-general of the department, insisted yesterday after a price monitoring at the Market Organisation for Farmers market that prices of products for daily consumption – particularly fresh vegetables and meat – remained steady.

Following a referral from the Stock Exchange of Thailand, an SEC investigation revealed that between August 28, 2012, and October 30, 2012, Dhipaya Insurance’s executive (Somporn), major shareholder (Thaisri Insurance) and related persons (Natee and Keratei) had used non-public information that would affect the company’s share price to gain an unfair advantage by selling shares to avoid a loss from the reduction in the share price.
