Netmarble Games Corp, a mobile-game publisher and developer based in South Korea, is teaming up with Total Access Communication (DTAC) to unveil Lineage2 Revolution in Thailand.

The Korean version of the game has a fan base of more than 30 million users. Just one month after its official launch in South Korea it grossed the equivalent of more than Bt6 billion. It will be available in Thailand in the middle of June with full privileges only for DTAC customers.
Young-sig Kwon, chief executive of Netmarble, said: “Thailand is one of the first countries to experience and play this game. After being very successful in Korea, [it is hoped that] Lineage2 Revolution will bring a great experience to Thai fans and be constantly popular among [them].”
Sarut Vanichpun, head of the prepaid value proposition department at DTAC, said: “DTAC is determined to create great experiences regularly for clients in order to become customers’ choice as well as to develop services to bring comfort to everyone in the digital world.
“DTAC ... has continuously launched top mobile games by teaming up with the world’s leading game publishers. The current trend shows that the popularity of mobile gaming is on the rise with the growth rate increasing from 40 per cent in 2014 to 70 per cent in 2017.
“DTAC has about 7.3 million subscribers playing mobile games and most of them prefer playing games over the Internet to Wi-Fi.”
DTAC says its customers will experience a smooth gaming experience via its “Super4G” network on 20 megahertz on the 1,800MHz band, which is the largest single-carrier bandwidth in Thailand.
It says the network supports the growth of data demand and provides the best wireless services.
It also offers convenience and security for game purchases by charging them on the monthly bill for post-paid customers or deducting them from the balance for pre-paid customers.
