KBank introduces special K-Home Loan promotion
Kasikornbank has introduced a “Super Value K-Home Loan Festival” campaign, under which it is offering an interest-free credit facility for three months and a loan limit of up to 100 per cent of appraisal value.
The promotion – available through October 31 – is aimed at helping KBank to achieve total home loans of Bt52.9 billion this year.
Alongkot Boonmasuk, head of the bank’s Housing Loan and Micro Loan Product Management Department, said on Tuesday that the campaign would offer improved customer access to a residential credit facility.
Loans will be granted at up to 90 per cent of the purchase price, with the possibility of obtaining additional funds under the K-Home Décor Loan for decoration purposes at up to 10 percent of the purchase price.
The combined amount per customer will therefore be up to 100 per cent of the appraisal price, he said.
In addition, special interest rates are offered at zero for the first to the third month, 3.5 per cent for the fourth to the 12th month, the minimum retail rate (MRR) minus 1.8 percentage points for the 13th to the 36th month, and beyond that MRR minus 1.25 percentage points until the end of the loan contract.
KBank’s MRR currently stands at 7.62 per cent.
The bank expects the campaign will be well received by customers, and has set a target to extend K-Home Loans under the programme at Bt8 billion, Alongkot said.
For the whole of 2017, KBank is targeting a total of Bt52.9 billion in new K-Home Loans, and expects its outstanding home lending to grow by 5-7 per cent, he added.
