Thai fans' favourite Paula Creamer is back in the Kingdom for the fifth time, opening her 2012 campaign in the US$1.5million Honda LPGA Thailand which tees off tomorrow at the Siam Country Club Pattaya Old Course.

The world No 5 arrived in Pattaya yesterday after skipping the Australian Open last week to perform bridesmaid’s duties at her best friend’s wedding. She will be making her fifth appearance in the local tournament, where she boasts two third-place finishes, in 2009 and 2007.
The Florida-based golfer was forced to retire after the first round in 2010 with a with leftthumb injury. She had been on the sidelines for several months before making a major breakthrough in her comeback by winning the US Open the same year.
The “Pink Panther” will try to stem the long title drought she has suffered since landing the US Open trophy in July 2010.
The top 60 LPGA players plus 10 wildcard holders will battle for the Pattaya title over 72 holes without a cut.
