The 17-year-old world No 2 amateur carded a fifth round three-under 69 to end on a total of 24-under 336, five shots ahead of England’s Emily Taylor and Australian Nikki Campbel at the Al Maaden golf course in Marrakech, Morocco.
Overall, 30 players earned their full playing rights for The 2013 Ladies European Tour.
“Overall I played well except for the second and the final days. I made some mistakes I shouldn’t have. I tried to hit my shot from the sand but it went to the water and I ended up with a bogey,” said Ariya, who will travel with her father Somboon in Europe as her mother Naruemon will accompany Moriya on the LPGA tour.
“I’m going to miss them a lot because we have to separate. But next year I will enter the LPGA Qualifying School and hopefully we will be travelling as a full family again,” said Ariya, who returns to Bangkok today.
Having turned 17 in late November, she will be among the youngest players on the European Tour.
Tanaporn Kongkiatkrai was the other Thai entering the event. She finished on four-under 356 for joint 36th, but failed to qualify.
