Club Friday brings the real life experiences of three of its members to the small screen

After two successful series to its credit, Club Friday returns to the Green Channel tonight at 7 with “Sam Rak Sam Cheewit” (Three Loves, Three Lives).
“We think of the series as a journey. It started as a radio programme that was based on the true stories of our listeners and morphed into a kind of drama that is broadcast on cable TV,” says Saithip Montrikul Na Ayudhaya, CEO of GMM Media and managing director of A-Time Media.
“By learning from the experiences of other people, some of us may be able to avoid having up to face up to unpleasantness,” she says. “The true stories that we’ve transformed into dramas have received good feedback.”
The recent press conference, which was hosted by DJs, Napaporn “Oy”Taivitwareegune and Wisawa “Pae” Kijtankajorn, opened with the soundtrack “Rak Raya Thod Long”, one of  dramas being shown in this third series. The song is written by Moo Muzu.
“This new series features three dramas adapted fromdifferent love stories. The first tells the story of the love between two close friends who pretended to bea couple. The second is about a woman who has experienced nothing but disappointments in love while the last looks at love between women who have families,” explains Saithip, who’s also known as DJ Chod. “We hope people get some ideas from them.”
“We have worked even harder on this third series,” says WoraritWaijiaranai, who is in charge of production. “It isn’t easy to cast actors and actresses in the roles of those characters nor to find directors who will do the stories justice.”
The three dramas are directed by Ekkasit “Koo” Trakulkasemsuk and Kathathep “Oe” Thaivanich and star Ratchawin “Koi” Wongviriya, Sarunrat “Lydia” Visutthithada, Manatsanun “Donut” Phanlerdwongsakul, Taweerit “Pae” Jullasup, Pongsatorn “DJ Phuak” Jongwilas and Preechaya “Ice” Pongthananikorn.
The artists and songwriters for the series include Sirinthip “Rose” Hanpradit, Patiwet “Fong Beer” Uthaichalerm, Piyada “Earn” Hachaiyapoom, and Muzu.
