The association had earlier asked fans to refrain from using instruments, wearing red shirts or cheering, as a mark of respect to the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej.
FA spokesman Patis Supapong said yesterday that cheering at the match would be allowed, thanks to the government’s decision to resume normal activities after the end of the 30-day mourning period on November 14.
“Fans attending the game may use musical instruments, sing songs as well as dress appropriately inside and outside the venue,” Patis said.
