Taking place at the 72 Courtyard community mall on Soi Thonglor, the special dinner features Baramundi made from smoked pastrami mousse, dried squid, spring onions and shrimp crackers, Toasta De Congrejo, a mixture of blue crab salad, black garlic and grilled bread, Croquettas (cod fritters, tempura lemon rings and aioli) and scalivada (smoked eggplant, onions, peppers, tomatoes and sherry vinegar). Other highlights include Bikini Bocadillo (layers of pressed serrano ham, manchego cheese and truffle butter) and Setas (mushrooms, farm eggs and wild herbs).
This set is paired with two white wines – Belondrade Y Lurton Quinta Apolonia 2015, Rueda and Bodega K Pilota Txakolina 2015.
A second set of tapas is served warm and includes Patatas Bravas (roasted potatoes, pimento spiced tomato and aioli), Filete a La Plancha (spice rubbed hanger steak, caramelised red onions and green curry butter), Guanciale (grilled pork jowl, pickled mango, dancing shrimp, chilli relish and colatura) and Paella de Mar y Tierra with clams, shrimp, chorizo and bomba rice.
These warm dishes are paired with two reds: Casa Castillo El Molar 2015, Jumilla and Alejandro Fernandez Dehesa La Granja 2008. The meal ends up with Panna Cotta paired with Equipo Navazos Casa del Inca Pedro Ximenez 2013..
