Actress and show host Panisara “Opal” Arayasakul posted on her Facebook that she never thought about writing a book about herself.

But the life-and-death experiences of the last few years have left such a lasting impression on her and those she loves that she wanted to set them down in writing. Her pocket book “Phor Mae Roo Phauk Noo Tong O” (“Finally We Are O”) will be launched on April 1 at the Please Health Booth as part of the National Book Fair being held at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre.
Opal fell pregnant not long after married the actor/singer/doctor Smith Arayaskul but suffered toxaemia, which meant she had to spend two months in bed. Her twins, a boy and a girl, arrived prematurely at 30 weeks, and spent two months in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) before being allowed home. Little Aline was diagnosed with a heart valve stenosis and has recently undergone balloon surgery. Her mum says she is now almost back to normal.
Opal also addresses the rumours surrounding her and Smith’s love life when they first started dating. But the couple proved the naysayers wrong and are living a happy life together. Smith will be in the new TV programme “The Return of Superman Thailand”, which shows how four celebrity fathers spend their time taking care of their kids in the absence of their mothers. It starts airing next Saturday (March 25) on Channel 7 at 3:25pm.
