Introducing Trumpology 101, please take a seat
I am currently crafting an introductory course in Trumpology, the study of Donald Trump. I hope that Trumpology will become a respected academic discipline once the dust has settled and the madness of the Age of Trump is blessedly behind us.
Critical to this endeavour is the task of identifying Mr Trump’s mental age. There are at least three schools of thought on this emotionally charged issue.
One school of thought holds that Mr Trump has the mentality of a nine-year-old. These are the optimists, or Niners. A second school maintains that his mental age is seven. They are the centrists, or Seveners. Finally we have a third school, who believe that he has the mentality of a five-year-old. These are the pessimists, or Fivers.
Every discipline has its extremists, and I tend to discount the opinions of the wildly optimistic, pie-in-the-sky Eleveners as well as the morbidly negative doomsayers, the Three-ers. (You can barely pronounce the last one, even with the hyphen.)
