Easier than ever to get to Japan
Singapore Airlines’ sister brand SilkAir will make travelling more convenient and shorter with non-stop flights to Hiroshima, Japan, starting on October 30.
There will be return flights on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays in what represents a significant milestone for the airline.
The service will utilise SilkAir’s fleet of Boeing 737-800 aircraft, with both Business and Economy cabins. Full service includes meals, wireless entertainment via SilkAir Studio, baggage allowances of 40kg in Business and 30kg in Economy, and through-check-in when connecting to or from another SilkAir or Singapore Airlines point via Singapore.
The combined Singapore Airlines-SilkAir network will serve six Japanese cities, with SilkAir increasing its total to 54 destinations in 16 countries.
Singapore Airlines and SilkAir customers can also make convenient connections from Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Phuket and Koh Samui to Singapore and connect onward to Hiroshima.
Singapore Airlines currently operates six daily flights between Bangkok and Singapore, while SilkAir serves Singapore with five weekly flights from Chiang Mai, 35 weekly flights from Phuket and 14 weekly flights from Koh Samui.
