It’s splashatastic all week in Pattaya, seaside provinces
Unlike Bangkok, Songkran in Pattaya and other seaside provinces is expected to continue until the “Wan Lai” festivities are complete.
Hundreds of Thais and foreigners were seen locked in water battles around Pattaya on Tuesday, with entertainment venues providing tanks filled with water to “fuel” the madness.
More people are expected to attend Wan Lai (Songkran Flowing Day) events in Chonburi’s Na Klua area on Thursday and in Pattaya on Friday.
This celebration is usually held in eastern seaboard provinces, namely Chonburi, Rayong and Samut Prakan.
