Korn, Lek made for each other

It turns out that KPN executives Korn Narongdej and Naphaporn "Lek" Bodiratnangkura, who were married on July 1, actually dated years ago and then parted ways.

Few of the 1,400 guests knew that. Some of them, though – the close friends – knew the union was inevitable.
Once they linked up again, Korn didn’t beat around the bush when it came to proposing and Lek matched his pace in saying yes. They work at the same place, are close in age and are involved in their family businesses.
Lek flew to Los Angeles to buy her wedding dresses for the private and public receptions from Monique Lhuillier and Herve Leger. She’s known for being fashion-conscious and wasn’t going to compromise on her “once-in-a-lifetime” outfits. She paired the dresses with Jimmy Choo high-heels, her favourites.
Asked whether Lek’s often-sexy clothing sometimes bothers him, Korn said he wouldn’t change a thing. “You’ve asked the wrong guy. There are men who are jealous and don’t want their wives or girlfriends to dress like that, but I feel proud when someone looks admiringly at Lek.”

Nice being Nadet
Soap-opera star Nadet Kukimiya is Thailand’s top-paid product presenter, says Channel 3. One advertisement will put Bt70 million in his pocket, which is Bt30 million more than Theeradej “Ken” wongpuapan and “Dome” Pakorn Lam make.
Nadet’s new soap, that same channel’s “Thoranee Nee Nee Krai Krong”, is already a hit. He even sings the theme song, a first for him and a “tough” extra bit of labour, he says.
The series is about a new generation of farmers and is shot on location at farms in various provinces. “It’s hard working under the hot sun,” Nadet says, “but I’m glad to get to know all these beautiful places.”
The actor has a reputation for putting every effort into his career, but, in case anyone asks, he’s going to draw the line at posing for a magazine in swim trunks. “A bare chest is okay, but not the bottom half – I’m too shy!”
