People’s Party leads, Natthaphong tops PM race: Nida poll

The latest Nida poll shows Anutin Charnvirakul in second place, while 14.12% of respondents say they still cannot find a suitable prime ministerial candidate.

  • According to a Nida poll, Natthaphong Ruengpanyawut of the People's Party is the top choice for prime minister with 24.76% of the vote.
  • The People's Party leads in voter preference, polling at 30.40% for constituency MPs and 30.48% for party-list MPs.
  • Anutin Charnvirakul of the Bhumjaithai Party is the second most popular candidate for prime minister at 20.84%, with his party also ranking second in popularity.

The Nida Poll Centre at the National Institute of Development Administration (Nida) has released the results of its survey, First Round: Election 2026 momentum, conducted on January 5–8,  2026.

Preferred candidate for prime minister (at present)
