In a statement to the Stock Exchange of Thailand, Siam Makro Plc'3 branches in Ayutthaya, Nakhon Sawan and Lop Buri are open as usual despite floods. But it closed the operations of the distribution centre and two rented cold storages in Wang Noi. All risk insurance has been in place, it said.
Ticon Industrial Connection Plc announced that its 9 factories totalling 22,950 square metres in Nava Nakorn Industrial Estate and 12 warehouses with 80,871 sqm in Ticon Logistics Park Wang Noi, Ayutthaya are affected by flooding and this would cost Bt10.6 million in monthly revenue or 13 per cent of total rental income.
BBL Asset Management Co Ltd, the manager of TPark Logistics Property Fund, said that the fund's five warehouses in Wang Noi with approximately 34,106 sqm are damaged. The five generates approximately Bt7.96 million per month, representing approximately 38.25 per cent of total rental income. The remaining warehouses of the fund are in Chachoengsao and Chon Buri.
Meanwhile, Ticon Property Fund's 14 factories in Pathum Thani are damaged, costing the fund Bt5.25 million in monthly revenue or 6.8 per cent of total rental income.
Amid bad news, Malee Sampran Plc announced that the company and subsidiaries' plants in Pathum Thani and Nakhon Pathom remain safe from floods.
Symphony Communication Plc installed CCTV to report live flood updates for broadcast on http://www.facebook.com/fb.symphony. Network services are suspended in four heavily-flooded industrial estates - Rojana, Hi-Tech, Bang Pa-in and Nava Nakorn - but remain normal in other areas. Loss of monthly revenue is estimated at less than 3 per cent, but it has insurance against damage of network equipments and nodes.
CI Group Plc has suspended the operations at its factory in Pathum Thani. Water around the factory is seeping through factory walls, causing partial flooding in the inside area, despite the installation of water pumps and flood barriers. It reports adequate insurance against flood damages.
Rockworth Plc also temporarily closed the factory in Bang Pa-in Industrial Estate, as floods submerged the first floor. Customers are notified of delayed shipments. The company also reported insurance against property and flood damages.
Rich Asia Steel Plc's subsidiary, Thai National Product Co Ltd, also suspended operations during Oct 18-20 as floods prevent the transportation of finished goods and raw materials from its plant in Sai Noi district, Nonthaburi. The factory itself is not affected by flood.
Thai O.P.P. Plc on Oct 17 shut down its plant in Latkrabang Industrial Estate but its factory in Wellgrow Industrial Estate is not affected.
