Supatcharamanee Srivali, marketing director of Dutch Mill, said the reason behind the relaunch of Dutchie Bio was that even though it is common knowledge that yoghurt benefits health, there were still many people, |particularly women, who suffered from digestive and excretory-|system problems due to their dietary behaviour and hectic lifestyles.
Yoghurt introduces live micro-organisms called probiotics into the body that help the excretory system work properly.
A malfunctioning excretory system can cause body toxicity, dull skin and other ailments.
As Dutchie is the leader in the yoghurt market, the company decided to create a new formula for Dutchie Bio using B lactis, a probiotic also known as Bifidobacterium animalis that has been shown to improve the human excretory system in seven days.
The company joined with three leading research institutions for more than two years to conduct the first ever research in this health area on Thai consumers.
As a result, the company reached the conclusion that B lactis in the new Dutchie Bio formula from Denmark could tolerate acid in the stomach and intestines better than regular yoghurt ingredients.
After consuming one cup a day of Dutchie Bio yoghurt for seven days, the excretory system would improve by 50 per cent.
