In Asia, Interface is targeting annual growth of 15 per cent in its commercial modular flooring sales for the next three years by focusing on the hospitality market.

“Interface’s unique quick-turn-around custom design service to enhance corporate images is a plus for this emerging market,” Robin Hales, vice president of marketing and products in the region, said this week.
The company would promote its niches, including an endless array of aesthetic designs, cost-saving solutions, easy installation and maintenance.
“There is a vast opportunity out there,” he said.
What the company needs to do is educate the market on the benefits of carpet tiles over other types of floor coverings. And hospitality businesses with high customer traffic can enjoy major savings in both time and budget from the use of Interface carpet tiles.
Modular tiles are easy to install and maintain. To install Interface products, there is no need for glue. TacTiles, Interface’s cutting-edge innovation, is a sticker-type adhesive that enables glue-free and timesaving installation.
Intercept’s antimicrobial technology also keeps maintenance very basic. Once a carpet tile is damaged, selective replacement can be easily accomplished by in-house staff.
Luckana Ngampatichon, business manager for Thailand and Indochina, said interior designers can select from a vast array of designs, patterns and colours to suit any desired ambience – from fun, relaxing, to luxury. Mix and match is one way to create interesting room-by-room design.
“Clients can also choose to benefit from our unique custom design service for an
order as small as 250 square metres,” he said.
“When cost is a concern, minimum waste installation, simple maintenance and easy selective replacement that decreases downtime makes Interface an ideal solution for beautiful functional floors for hotels and hospitality businesses.”
