The "Rose Series: Hanging 2011" by award-winning Thai designer Korakot Aromdee is among 43 pieces in "Rethinking Bamboo" at the Beijing International Design Triennial Exhibition.

Korakot’s sculpture-like hanging lamp, made from bamboo, has a wavy, organic-shape that might get you pondering about new ways to weave fibre.
The show at the National Museum of China features more than 2,000 works from nearly 500 designers from more than 40 countries. It’s on until October 17.

Rally of the dolls
