Eight young ladies 'come out' at this year's debutante's ball

Last Tuesday, eight beautiful young ladies from the Jiaravanon, Skulthai, Yoovidhya, Devahastin, Amranand, Phatraprasit, Srikarnchan and Karnasuta families were presented to society at the sixth edition of the “Emporium Les Debutantes en Beaute”.
Working in collaboration with the Emporium Department Store, six leading jewellery boutiques - Blue River, Gems Pavilion, Karat, Prima Gems, Puang Dao, and Rajdamri Gems – selected special pieces for the new debutantes under the concept “Bloom”.
Chayuda Jiaravanon walked arm in arm with her father Chatchaval. The young lady who studies at Tufts University in the US wore a long pear cut diamond necklace from Rajdamri Gems, diamond earrings and a princess-cut diamond bracelet.
Blue River created jewellery pieces for two debutantes, Chutimon Skulthai and Panalee Phatraprasit.
Chutimon, a new graduate from Thammasat University who was presented by her mother Monlahcha, wore the “White Jasmine” design with Marquise-cut diamonds in a necklace, bracelet and ring set.
Panalee, a sophomore student at Columbia College in the US, presented by her dad Praphan Phatraprasit, wore Blue River’s Pure Dewey collection, consisting of various cuts of diamonds artistically arranged to look like water drops.
Gems Pavilion also selected two jewellery sets conveying the gentleness and sweetness of young women. Romantic Legend was inspired by flowers, leaves and streams. The diamond cuts were pear, marquise and round evoking sweetness and romance. Patrinee Karnasuta, a student at Heathfield School Ascot in the UK, wore these precious items as she glided on her mother, Sudthanom’s arm.
Confident Thitikhun Yoovidhya, who was presented by her brother Pholsak, wore Gems Pavilion’s Beauty Secret featuring diamonds imported from Belgium set in white gold and with an art decor design. Thitikhun is currently working for her master’s degree at Nottingham Trent University in the UK.
Also presented at the event were the daughters of two well-known socialites: Holly Amranand’s Nandhini and Yuki
Srikarnchana’s Ploypayap, both lovely like their mothers.
Nandhini presented the jewellery set by Puang Dao featuring exquisite Belgian diamonds designed to convey love and prosperity. The set consisted of a necklace, medlar flower bracelet, dangling earrings, ring and brooch. Ploypayap wore round brilliant-cut diamonds from Belgium designed by Karat.
Tanyawan Devahastin, a student at Mater Dei School was presented by her father Thanan Devahastin. She wore Prima Gems’ elegant jewellery that featured perfectly aligned rubies and diamonds in a necklace, earrings and ring.
The event ended with an elegant debutante ball and a special song “C’est Si Bon” crooned by guest singer Nopthorn Suntornyankij.
