After co-hosting hit game show "Ching Roi Ching Larn" with Panya Nirankul for more than two decades, former actress Mayura "Tak" Savetsila has called it quits. She made the announcement on Tuesday while unveiling her book "Mahatsajan Mayura". She'd alread

So, yes, last year’s rumour that she would soon quit was true, “but it’s nothing to do with my physical condition – I’m very healthy and everyone knows I’m hyperactive. I like to put all my energy into my work.”
So why is she leaving? Some speculate that there might be a rift with Panya, Tak’s long-time friend before becoming her boss. All she’s saying, though, is that “the real reason is that I feel I hardly do anything on the show – it looks like I’m there for the sake of being there, like a logo or something.
“I didn’t contribute much, anyway. I’ve come a long way and I should be doing what makes me content. And, by the same token, they’re free to alter the show now that I’m gone.”
Tak said Panya, who she “loves and respects”, would never be the person who tells her she’s no longer needed, “so I made a decision for him”.
Nor is Work Point’s rumoured signing of Warattaya “Jui” Nilkhuha a factor in Tak’s departure. “I don’t know who’s coming on board – I’m only a co-host” – but yes, she’s a little upset about the hiring. “I’m an old face and have no role in it anymore, so I think I’d better leave.”
Would she ever considering working with Panya again? “No,” she said firmly. “I don’t think anyone would welcome back someone who’s walked away, like I’m doing.”
So spread the word, she told the press: She’s available for new duties. “Anyone who needs an employee who’s punctual, not too picky about food, willing to work until the job is done without complaining, and healthy, with lots of energy, please contact me!”
And, if you want to hear more from Mayura, she will be the guest on “The Woody Show” on modernine TV on Sunday night.
