A 14-course dinner at Panorama is paired with the very best of French wines

Panorama Restaurant at the Crowne Plaza Bangkok is presenting a “French Grand Cru Class Wine Dinner” on November 9 and 10 featuring the very finest French cuisine. The 14-course dinner will be paired with carefully selected French wines from leading wineries.
On arrival guests will be treated to an aperitif of Montaudon Brut, Reserve Premiere champagne, its wealth of sparkle forming a long lasting mousse. This is a clean style champagne with scents of flowers and exotic fruits especially mango.
The menu include Alaskan King Crab Leg with Cereals; Banana Brioche, Foie Gras, and Jam; and Pigeon, Pan Roasted Foie Gras, and Aged Balsamic Oxtail Ravioli with Fresh Burgundy Truffles Shaved Tableside.
“Your sense of taste will soon be spoiled with a choice of exciting gastronomy. Contemporary exquisite dishes will tempt the taste buds alongside classical glasses of wine, which express contrast in temperature, texture and flavour,” says Crowne Plaza executive chef Jeremy Lasserre.
Lasserre’s insatiable passion for food started during his childhood when his grandmother prepared Spanish dishes for him. When, as a teen, he decided to explore the world of haute cuisine, he did so with the full support of his father and grandmother. Lasserre had the opportunity to experiment with the many different foods and flavours from the rest of the world while working as a trainee in a local restaurant in France.
Wines of the night include Domain Michel Thomas, Sancerre Blanc, 2010, Fran?ois Paquet, Les Almanys Chablis, 2009, Chateau Mauvinon, Saint-Emilion Grand Cru Class, 2008 and Chateau Figeac, Saint-Emilion Premier Grand Cru Class, 2004.
    BON APPETIT!
The wine dinner costs Bt3,999-plus per person. Guests booking seats before November 1 gets a 20-per-cent discount. Reserve tables at (02) 632 9000 or by e-mail at [email protected].
