The Workshop Exhibit clothing line gives urban Thai women a generous choice in day and eveningwear

Workshop Exhibit Limited Edition “Tropical Mist” by Reno (Thailand) is the latest line from Workshop for urban women who are brimming with self-confidence. It’s tailor-made and creative cutting-edge design.
The clothes were unveiled recently at Center Atrium Square on the first floor of Siam Center.
Workshop brand manager Tanaporn Thanakitamnuay declared that she’s driven by a passion for fashion and the determination to create something unique, interesting and outside the box. The Workshop Exhibit line retains the parent firm’s values of good value for money and “fast fashion”.
“Workshop Exhibit was created to offer something new for those who want fashionable items with meticulous design. The design for this brand is more fashion-oriented, unique and eye-catching,” Tanaporn said.
“The Tropical Mist collection reflects confidence, creativity and a fashion-forward character. It’s a playful mix-and-match between masculine and feminine styles, creating clothing items that are fashionable, meticulously tailor-made and exclusive.”
Workshop Exhibit will switch themes “constantly”, she said, to keep up with the changing trends and seasons.
Tropical Mist takes its inspiration from rare plants. Their shapes and patterns are interpreted in prints and colours that are natural and beautiful to reconnect the wearer with nature. Sarut Wuttiphacharaton, who designed the Workshop Exhibit line, said this collection is all about confident “leading ladies”.
“Women this season are enjoying experimenting with new things, mixing and matching their own fashion with sporty items,” he said. “Some items are masculine, such as the jacket, coat shirt and denim jeans, while some are made with more feminine materials like silk, satin and glitter. The inspiration is from street styles, with a natural simplicity that reflects how we need to stay true to our roots, even as fashion serves as an ornament to life.”
Tippanan Srifuangfung, who designs handbags for the Tui brand, was at the launch to congratulate her friend Sarut and praised the collection as easy-going, comfortable and a colourful match for the season. “I think the overall look suits modern women and the climate, which is very important,” Tippanan said. Karatpetch Issara, the designer at Kem Issara, also proclaimed her love for the new line.
“It’s quite sporty and active and adaptable for a variety of looks. Some of the dresses are light and fresh in term of colours and fabric. You can do lots of mixing and matching for day and nighttime, so it’s really cool!”
