Jazz becomes a repeat winner with sizzling 60
Red-hot Jazz Janewattananond shot a stunning 60 to beat Panuphol Pittayarat by a stroke and defend his title in the Bt2.2 million Singha Classic at the par-71, 7,295-yard Royal Hill Golf Resort and Spa in Nakhon Nayok on Sunday.
Nine shots behind overnight leader Panuphol, the 21-year-old blasted nine birdies, an eagle to counter a bogey for a combined 16-under-par 268.
“I didn’t really expect to win today. I didn’t play well on Saturday and fell nine behind. The turning point was at the third hole when I hit the eagle. It is one of the toughest holes on the course. The three finishing birdies also helped me to win,” said Jazz, who won Bt300,000 and became a repeat winner.

Jazz, who is officially known as Atiwit, also became the first player to retain the title on the All Thailand Tour this year.
Panuphol, who finished with an even-par score for 15-under-par 269, had to be content with the runner-up prize money of Bt185,000.
Coconut, as Panuphol is called on the Tour, leads the Order of Merit with earnings of Bt1,314,500.
The All Thailand Tour will next stop at the Royal Hua Hin Golf Course from July 20-23.
