Chefs Budiyana Ramelan and Miati from the Kempinski Jakarta will be in Bangkok to showcase their impressive culinary skills with an extensive range of local traditional dishes for both lunch and dinner.
Dishes include Kakap Sambel Matah (pan-seared snapper with turmeric, sliced shallots, lemongrass and lime leafs); Redang Daging (beef shanks stewed with chilli paste, Indonesian spices and coconut cream); Cumi-cumi Sauce Padang (braised squid with turmeric, chilli and coconut sauce) and Nasi Goreng Indonesia, fried rice with shredded chicken, prawn and chilli paste).Diners can also indulge in a variety of traditional Indonesian desserts such as Pisang Goereng (fried bananas Indonesian style) and Talam Ubi (sweet potato and coconut cake).
The lunch and dinner buffets also include fresh seafood on ice, Japanese station with sushi, sashimi, and an extensive selection of Asian and European favourites. The prices are Bt1,225-plus per person for buffet lunch from noon to 3pm, and Bt1,800-plus per person for dinner from 6.30 to 10.30pm.
