Now in its third year, the Eat Drink Pink event on November 20 presents the finest Thai and global gastronomy and drinks to support the world-leading Pink Park Village and the Queen Sirikit Centre for breast cancer.

Co-organised by the Peninsula Bangkok and Turkish Airlines, the event brings together more than 30 celebrated dining institutions such as Err, Lenzi Tuscan Kitchen, Il Fumo, Bunker, Sensi, Quince, Water Library, La Casa Nostre, Little Beast, Vesper, Baan and Blue Elephant as well as Asia’s Best Restaurants for 2017, namely, Le Du, Eat Me, Nahm and Suhring, to raise funds for the Queen Sirikit Centre for Breast Cancer Foundation in Chulalongkorn Hospital.
Guests will enjoy signature dishes, drinks and snacks prepared by Bangkok’s top chefs, culinary experts and bartenders along the riverfront. Each restaurant will present its creative menu for guests of the event to taste. This year, Il Fumo will present “Agitagueda” Lake Markemeer Eel, Foie Gras and Limoncello. Il Fumo’s Chef Nelson Amorim was inspired by the colourful umbrella instalment for the Agitagueda Art Festival in the city of Agueda, which is his hometown in Portugal.
Chef Francesco from Lenzi Tuscan Kitchen will showcase Paccheri con Tartara di Gamberi Rossi, for which the “Pasta Risottata” cooking technique will be used. This is a traditional Italian cooking technique to cook pasta the way risotto is cooked.
Chef Arnie Marcella, the chef and owner of Bunker, supported his mother in her fight against breast cancer. This year, he’ll present Foie Gras with strawberry foam, fried sage and brown butter sage crumble. This dish was requested by his mother during her recovery from breast cancer, and it combines the chef’s feelings for and memories of his mother and her struggle to beat breast cancer.
For those who like Thai cuisine, Err restaurant will present a simple yet delicious menu of deep-fried squid with turmeric and satay chicken. All ingredients are from sustainable sources.
Asia’s Best Restaurants, namely, Le Du, Suhring, Nahm and Eat Me, are keeping their special dishes for Eat Drink Pink secret as they want to surprise and delight guests of the event.
Eat Drink Pink is presented as part of The Peninsula Bangkok’s annual Peninsula in Pink campaign, which raises awareness and funds for local charities leading the fight against breast cancer.
On November 20, guests at The Peninsula Bangkok can savour fine local and global cuisine at the Eat Drink Pink event. They can also participate in the raffle prize draw and have the chance to win a trip to Hong Kong with two round-trip tickets from Cathay Pacific and a stay at The Peninsula Hong Kong or other prizes for stays at The Peninsula Beijing, The Peninsula Shanghai and The Peninsula New York, as well as spa experiences, cooking classes and dining experiences. Raffle tickets are priced at Bt100 a pop.
