Audience members will be helping children with disabilities, underprivileged youngsters and about 1,600 school and college students to open up their imaginations and learn about foreign cultures.
Choreographer Vladimir Vasiliev, former principal dancer of the Bolshoi Theatre Ballet, has put together an enchanting edition of the classic fairytale, complete with glass slippers and a pumpkin that turns into a fancy carriage.
The show has been praised for its dazzling costumes, spectacular sets and the stirring music of the accompanying orchestra.
Bangkok’s International Festival of Dance and Music this year also features classical and contemporary ballet, acrobatics, magic, Broadway favourites and orchestral concerts right through October 19.
