It’s called having a mind of one’s own

Re: “Do you support Trump or population control? You can’t do both”, Have Your Say, October 10.

I share many of President Trump’s principles and disagree with others. It’s a matter of prioritising. It’s called having a mind of one’s own. I agree with President Trump’s stand on controlled immigration in the interests of security and having a stable, assimilating society. Above all Donald Trump believes in the sovereignty of the nation state and is opposed to the New World Order with its one world government. Nothing is more fundamental than that.
While I am very much against hunting and killing wild animals in the name of sport, unfortunately one has to prioritise and look to the issues where there is concurrence. Fortunately democracy’s freedom of expression permits us to protest and vote against the issues with which we disagree. Donald Trump believes in that too and strongly opposes political correctness that has caused such social chaos.
To judge a person simply on what the mainstream media say about them is naive. Knowing very little about Bill and Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump, research made it quite an easy choice to be in favour of Trump’s broad ideas. Opposing him was an organisation of absolutely base immorality, criminality and corruption at the highest level, evidence of which is all in black ink on white paper. Eric Bahrt seems to be of the opinion that supporting someone requires total agreement with their policies, which is unfortunate given the status and character of his heroine, Hillary Clinton. The best advice is to stop throwing stones.
