Bangkokians flocked to gold shops in the capital’s Yaowarat area on Thursday after Russia’s invasion of Ukraine sent prices soaring.
As of 11.29am on Friday, the buying price of a gold bar stood at 29,350 baht and the selling price at 29,450 baht, while the buying and selling price of gold ornaments came in at 28,819.16 baht and 29,950 baht respectively.
