Social Nation, Inc is a successful advertising technology start-up that was co-founded by a Thai entrepreneur in the Silicon Valley. The company, working under the brand “AdsOptimal”, has delivered more than 2 billion online views of advertisements in 2015.
Apart from helping advertisers, the company has also helped over 100,000 publishers to monetise their websites. It recently launched virtual reality and 360-degree video technology under the brand “OmniVirt”, and since has landed many high-profile publishers such as The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal as customers. Unlike other virtual reality products, advertisements on OmniVirt can be viewed directly in all major web browsers without the need to install new software or application. The company is already bringing its virtual reality product into the global level.
Prachaya Phaisanwiphatpong, CEO of Social Nation, said his company would be able to more easily penetrate the Asean market thanks to its collaboration with InTouch, adding that the region is a very promising market for digital advertising.
Thanapong Na Ranong, vice president and chief of the Venture Capital team at InTouch, said his company will bring Social Nation to Thailand and other countries in the region through its international alliances.
