The iPhone 7 comes with a lot of new features in the same size and similar design as the iPhone 6 and it is 5 grams lighter.
It offers a new flagship colour, jet black, along with the mainstay colours of previous iPhones including black, silver, gold and rose gold.
The iPhone 7 is powered by an A10 Fusion chip with 64-bit architecture that provides better performance and helps improve battery life.
It comes with a 12-megapixel camera with optical image stabilisation to reduce blur; an f/1.8 aperture, and a six-element lens to make it better for low-light shooting.
The new LED (light-emitting diode) flash adjusts to the environment, resulting in sharper, brighter photos, and also has a new 7MP front-facing camera for selfie lovers.
One of the new features of the iPhone 7 that impressed me was the stereo speakers, which deliver twice the audio output of the previous model.
Another impressive feature is the new home button, which is re-engineered in a new unibody design that is seamless to the touch. The Taptic Engine, which can be adjusted to three different levels, adds tactile sensations to the home button and even the screen keyboard.
Last but not least is the Touch ID fingerprint sensor, that allows users to unlock their phone easily but securely. Users can set Touch ID with a six-digit password and it also helps get application more easily without needing to fill in the Apple ID password.
Inside the iPhone7 box there are EarPods with Lightning connector, Lightning to USB cable, USB power adapter, and Lightning to 3.5-millimetre headphone jack adapter.
There are no AirPods in the box, though. If you want to experience these wireless devices, you need to wait. Until then, you can still plug your old headphones into the adapter.
