Defence Minister Gen Nattapon Nakpanich says the government has issued no ceasefire order to the armed forces and vows there will be no halt to operations until Cambodia “clearly ceases all hostility” toward Thailand.

Lt Gen Boonsin Padklang, adviser to the Army Commander and former Second Army Area chief, visited an evacuation centre in Surin to encourage civilians displaced from the Thai-Cambodian border, urging confidence in the military and describing current operations as a fight to defend Thailand’s dignity and territory.

Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul says his recent call with US President Donald Trump did not include any ceasefire agreement with Cambodia, stressing that Thailand will prioritise protecting its sovereignty and citizens as cross-border attacks continue.
