Former Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra will be eligible for parole in May, having served two-thirds of his one-year sentence. This comes after a visit by his son-in-law, Pitaka Suksawat, at Klong Prem Central Prison, where Thaksin is currently incarcerated.
